About the Role

We are an IT firm that builds and maintains websites for various clients and actively manages Google Ads campaigns. We’re seeking a Google Ads Specialist with strong expertise in Google Shopping and Merchant Center, plus solid experience in Google Search Ads.
The ideal candidate will confidently manage, optimize, and scale campaigns for multiple ecommerce clients, take ownership of performance, proactively resolve issues, and consistently deliver measurable ROI and ROAS.
This is a hands-on, performance-driven role ideal for professionals with proven experience managing Google Ads accounts end-to-end who are ready to make a significant impact.

 

Primary Focus Areas

  • Google Shopping / Merchant Center optimization (primary responsibility)
  • Google Search Ads management (secondary responsibility)
  • Display advertising is not required
     

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, optimize, and scale Google Shopping and/or Performance Max campaigns
  • Diagnose and resolve Google Merchant Center issues including disapprovals, feed errors, and policy violations
  • Improve ROAS and overall account profitability
  • Manage and optimize Google Search campaigns, including:
    • Keyword research and campaign structure
    • Negative keyword management
    • Match type strategy
    • Controlling wasted spend
  • Monitor account performance daily and make data-driven adjustments
  • Provide weekly performance reports with clear insights, action items, and measurable results

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads for ecommerce brands
  • Strong expertise in Google Merchant Center, with ability to troubleshoot and resolve disapprovals efficiently
  • Proven experience managing Google Shopping and/or Performance Max campaigns with measurable results
  • Deep understanding of key Shopping performance metrics such as ROAS, conversion rate, AOV, CPC, and CPA
  • Proven skills managing Google Search campaigns including keyword strategy, negative keywords, and campaign optimization
  • Comfortable working with large product catalogs and high SKU counts
  • performance-driven mindset focused on ROAS, revenue, and conversion value, not just clicks or impressions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions
     

Nice to Have (Preferred, Not Required)

  • Experience working with apparel ecommerce brands
  • Experience with product feed optimization (e.g., titles, product_type, custom labels)
  • Experience scaling ad spend while maintaining or improving ROAS
